Women’s Sandals Wide

men’s or women’s Rainbow Sandals?
So yeah, I know I already asked a similar question last week. But, I’m still in quite a dilemma. So I bought a pair of Rainbows last week, but I bought the men’s. I guess I’m used to wearing Old Navy flip-flops and used to the wide feeling, because when I tried the women’s sizes on it felt kinda narrow.
But then, after awhile I noticed that the men’s looked kinda weird when I wear them with shorts or a skirt.
Haven’t really worn them yet, so I dunno if I should go exchange them for women’s. Plus the pair I got are a bit big.
So yeah. I seriously need some feedback here.
i got men’s 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 by the way. it’s the same size as my old navy flip-flops. they’re a bit too long though.
If I were you I would return them for either the smaller sized men’s sandal or the correct sized women’s sandal. If you’re going to wear them with shorts or a skirt, I’d say better to get the women’s sandal though. But! In my experience, I like the women’s sandal to be a little bit bigger than my size is, that way I won’t end up hang-gliding off the dam sandal and look like a fool walking down the street. Plus, the narrower fit of the women’s sandal does compliment the bare foot and leg, especially when worn with shorts or a skirt.
But take care not to get it TOO fitted, otherwise it might land you a blister. If you feel that the men’s are a better fit as far as rubbing goes, I would definitely stick with the men’s sandal but just return the one’s you have now for a smaller size? Because it seems that the men’s one that you have now may be a bit on the large side.
Usually flip-flops are unisex unless they’re just bright pink or something then obviously they’re for females, or really daring males perhaps… or metrosexuals…
Nevertheless, you could always go back to the store with the ones that you do own (and have the receipt for, I hope) and try out the other pairs in the store to see if you’d really like it to be a bit smaller or if the one you have already purchased is just an acquired taste. In which case you’d probably just need to wear em around the house a bit to work them in, and then they’ll feel as great as any other sandals you already have had.
Good luck whatever you decide to do though.
Take it easy,
miR
