String Bottom

Okay, how do you know if the E string(bottom string) of your guitar is tuned or not?
I really need to know, because in like, tuning videos they always say to press down on the 5th fret of the E string to make it sound similar to the next string.
But to do all that you have to get the E string tuned..
How do you get it tuned!?
Or how do you know it’s tuned?
Please help! (:
Oh and no, I do not own a tuner.
And I can’t get one right now,
so please help.
