Black tights with sliver strappy sandals?

I have a Christmas party to go to in a couple weeks and I bought a strapless dress that is black with metallic silver and bronze zebra print. I was thinking about doing a black opaque tight with a strappy silver sandal. I have seen celebrities wearing styles like this, but I don’t know if I could pull it off myself. It seems like celebs can wear anything in the world and look hip and trendy, but I feel like I end up looking like I got dressed in the dark….any opinions out there?

It depends on where you live, is it really cold there? Then of course you’d look like you got dressed in the dark. Is it warmer? Then go for it! I’ve seen this look before so try it on and if it looks good, go for it! But definately think about the climate you live in. If there will be snow on the ground, try some flats or any shoe that isn’t a sandal.
