what do you think of wearing sandals at your wedding?

i am getting married in auguest. everything is indoors. i cant seem to find any open-toed shoes to wear i like that are flats ( heels are not an option!) so i thought of just wearing a cute pair of white flip-flops since noone will be seeing my shoes anyway because of the length of my dress. what do you guys think?
i would also like to say that i am not one concerned about “fashion” and whats in “style” so thats not the issue. i just want comfort and not to be taller than my fiance!

I think this is something you need to consider all pros and cons about, plus this is another thing I think you should experiement with. By this I mean take some of the opinions here, including mine and play with them. Use this time to see what you might be able to work with and handle to come up with what you like the most. For example: go to Walmart and play in the sandle aisle. If their are a few shoes you like similar to the suggestions here buy them and try them out for a few days. Usually sandles at Walmart are only like 10 bucks.
When it comes down to it it is your decision, but here is what I think: I think you should take thought into the fact that heels do make you stand up straighter, giving you that upright sleder stance you just my want during your wedding and especially for those photos. I shouldn’t say that I don’t like heels, I just wish my feetcould stand wearing them. I find that ones like the last two give me the heel look and feel, but I have that extra support and stabbleness.
I do like th flip flop idea, but again think you need to consider everything. Maybe pick the best “heel” shoe you like and then the best non-heel shoe, this way you have your flats for comfort, but you’ll also have your heels if you want.

Either way consider all pros and cons. You could fall in flip flops and they could easily get caught up in our dress. There is that whole flipity flop noise they make as well, but they are so comfy! Heels, your prolly afraid of comfort, support, and not wanting to fall on your a@@, this is why I like the ones I suggested above. A small heel could work? gives you that light lift for posture. Maybe find a pair with a strap for extra support.
