Wedding Destinations for Cheap?

We are from Kentucky looking for a sweet getaway for two. No Family! We are very…into each other. lol. One of us is laid off but we would still like to do it anyway. but it will need to be somewhere cheap…Looking at a Sandals resort in Montego Bay? I would settle for Gatlinburg but he says no way! And come on no court houses thats not special at all! or romantic? Vegas- I dunno is it really cool or just Elvis cheesy?

I suggest St. Augustine, Florida. It’s one day’s drive from where you live, there are plenty of cheap places to stay, lots of stuff to do for a couple (many of them free or really cheap), there’s a nice beach, and it’s historically romantic. It’s a beautiful location, especially in the fall and spring.
