Patong Hotel Rooms for the adventurous

After Stayed in a hotel in Patong recently, and hearing of a recent trip, a colleague, that made me realize how little people (tourists) know about the island here. Here is a brief excerpt from his promotion.

[It is much colder now than 480M altitude or more, walked north here, my GPS read Y3, three walks to choose from and I tried the first three to finally decide who was heading west. Then I came to a place where I realized that the hill was completely with a thick brush covers everything. I tried three ways, but all were too large to pass. Then I spent an hour searching a way through my kind of paid work and finally found a small incision in the east and began to follow. Then it was over (the track) and all I knew I had to come back and head to another track (which was possible), except for a large ravine between the two. Descending, I noticed a large fallen tree covering the ravine and thought I could go through that. As I care increased slowly through the style of the rope, suddenly had rained the night I started before and the newspaper was very slippery. Halfway down two feet and I fell backwards into the water. I was astonished to think why do not you stay in a hotel, enjoy the hotel pool or in a restaurant such as Patong. Then I remembered. When I'm on the track there is no place that I prefer, brush course is hard, very hard. But when you find the paths that lead me through the jungles and rubber plantations to some of the best views, I think it's worth. All I have to do is wait until someone starts to build new runways at any price if they do, it would be surprising in Phuket, Patong. Several other tourists were leaving their hotel rooms and hiking too. It baffles me sometimes when I think of only tourists staying in hotel rooms and restaurants in Patong and not see the real Thailand. All the way back the story ...]

After hearing this story made me feel like getting out and hiking well. Although I somehow felt totally inadequate Actually, I with my floppy Hawaiian shirt and sandals, sitting on the pool bar and such, Indiana Jones told me his story of daring and danger. But I suppose at the end of the day we can not all be adventurous, some of us can survive only in the luxury of staying in our hotel rooms in Patong, views, huge, the service very good prices, reasonable. What can you do when it comes to a holiday in the sun. One last word of my friend in Indiana
