Has anyone ever been to Breezes Domincan Republic?
I am planning to go to Breezes Puerto Plata in the DR this December. How does it rate? Is it safe, clean, fun? I have been to Sandals Resorts in Jamaica and Bahamas and in my opinion they are phenomenal. But I got a great deal at Breezes. Any advice?
I stayed at that resort a few years ago, and it was a dump. The rooms were old, beds hard, tv rarely worked, windows leaked when it rained. Some reviews said some rooms had mold. The food was horrible, cold, and there were often roaches and flies around the food at the buffet. Also the beach it was on was rough, always a red flag day. It’s a resort I would never go to again or even recommend. I have a review with pics on tripadvisor. I would suggest you check the reviews on tripadvisor before making a final decision.
