At Sandals Royal Caribbean Jamaica do men have to wear long sleeve shirts in the evenings?
I know that some of the restaurants are resort casual and some are resort elegant. How picky are they if my fiance would wear just a button down short sleeve? The poor guy has such long arms that I have a hard time finding dress shirts that fit that he actually likes. If you were there and know anything please let me know thanks!
Yes, most of the dinner restaurants require long sleeve dress shirts for men. How strict they are depends on the employees and management of each resort along with the possibility of complaints from other guests.
Here is the basic description of the dress code:
Resort Casual Attire – Dress shorts or jeans, swimwear must be covered, no bare feet.
Resort Evening Attire – Dress pants for men, shirts with sleeves and collar, dress shoes.
Personally, I get very hot so I prefer to wear short sleeve shirts at all times. I’m not a big fan of this policy since it is possible to wear a very nice outfit with short sleeves. Especially when you are in a tropical destination!
Better safe than sorry. Try to find a long sleeve dress shirt to take a long so you will have access to all restaurants.
