Aruba, Jamaica or elsewhere?

DH and I go to one, low-key holiday relaxing in the spring. We want to relax, sit on the beach with a drink and maybe make a trip easier (just maybe). We believe in Aruba or Jamaica. If you went to Aruba, we would be in a high-rise hotel. If we we went to Jamaica, Sandals try. What better place would be a holiday? Or is there another island that we should consider? We are in our late 20s / 30 years and were in Belize (I loved) and the Bahamas (not much). Thanks! Thanks for the replies so far. DH and I live in Washington, DC. We'd much rather stay at a spa low or condominium, but the best seems so dear to Aruba!

I disagree with everyone. I think what you are looking for a Better Jamaica (Negril, Jamaica is my best option for you.) I was at one time and if you plan to stay in Aruba on a high-rise building, you will not feel the typical R & R. It seems you want a place where you can open the door to his room and walk on the sand or putting in a hammock and do not hear people screaming about 30 Volleyball Net. We stayed in the division / Tamarijn Aruba, but there were children there, do not enjoy it. But when we stayed at the Sandals Negril was like we had the whole complex for us, even when no people around us. For some reason Sandals knows how to do things for couples.
