Is it okay to wear gladiator sandals to someone’s wedding?

My brother’s wedding is in two weeks and I don’t really care what HE thinks, since he put all of his siblings in the wedding party except me =) I just wonder if I will look ridiculous or if it’s acceptable attire. I’m wearing this dress from vera wang:
